Advertising Policy

Journal of Education and Islamic Moderation (JIEM)

The Journal of Education and Islamic Moderation (JIEM) upholds the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing. In line with these principles, the following policy governs the acceptance and management of advertising within the journal’s platforms.

  1. Purpose and Scope
The purpose of advertising in JIEM is to provide readers with relevant information on academic, educational, and professional developments that align with the journal’s mission and scholarly focus. Advertising revenue, when applicable, supports the sustainability of the journal without compromising its editorial independence or academic objectivity.

  2. Editorial Independence
Decisions regarding advertising are made independently of editorial and peer-review processes. Acceptance or rejection of advertisements does not influence editorial judgments, manuscript evaluations, or publication decisions. All editorial content remains free from commercial influence.

  3. Acceptable Advertising
JIEM welcomes advertisements that promote scholarly conferences, educational programs, academic publications, research tools, or institutional initiatives related to education, Islamic studies, or the humanities and social sciences.

  4. Unacceptable Advertising
The journal does not accept advertisements that are deceptive, misleading, discriminatory, or offensive in nature. Any advertisement promoting alcohol, tobacco, gambling, political content, or material contrary to Islamic ethics and universal moral values will be strictly prohibited.

  5. Review and Approval
All advertisements are subject to prior review and approval by the JIEM editorial management team to ensure compliance with the journal’s ethical and professional standards. The editorial office reserves the right to refuse or remove any advertisement deemed inconsistent with the journal’s mission or policies.

  6. Placement and Distinction
Advertisements will be clearly distinguished from editorial content and placed in designated sections of the journal’s website or print materials. Under no circumstances shall advertisements appear in proximity to content where they may imply editorial endorsement.

  7. Responsibility and Liability
Advertisers bear full responsibility for the accuracy, legality, and content of their advertisements. JIEM assumes no responsibility for any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from advertised materials.

  8. Amendments and Compliance
This policy may be reviewed and updated periodically to reflect evolving ethical standards, legal requirements, or publishing best practices. All advertisers are expected to comply fully with this policy as a condition for publication.
