Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of the application of Islamic Social Entrepreneurship (ISE) on increasing community income in waste management. The research approach used a quantitative method, which took a sample of Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency, as many as 42 people, selected by incidental purposive sampling and data collected through questionnaires and interviews. The results of the regression analysis showed that the independent variable of Islamic Social Entrepreneurship, namely the principle of Tauhid, had a value of t = 4.761 and p = 0.000 (p <0.05), which indicated a significant positive effect on community income. Social Value obtained a value of t = 2.598 and p = 0.011 (p <0.05), which also showed a significant effect on increasing income. Innovation in Entrepreneurship with a value of t = 3.158 and p = 0.004 (p <0.05) showed that the application of entrepreneurial innovation had a significant contribution to community income. Business Sustainability shows a value of t = 4.242 and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), which means that business sustainability has a significant effect on income. The Zakat and Infaq Business variables obtained a value of t = 3.824 and p = 0.002 (p < 0.05) also making a significant contribution to increasing community income. The F test shows that the overall regression model is significant (p = 0.000) with an R² value indicating that around 62.6% of the variation of the variables in Islamic Social Entrepreneurship is able to provide an effective contribution to community income.
