Abstract

Abstract: The curriculum is an absolute component in education and learning, however, the curriculum will experience changes when there are new policy makers and this curriculum they adapt to the needs of students in the new era. At this time teachers and students must keep up with the times, namely being able to adapt to digital literacy in the learning process, therefore it is necessary for the government to develop another curriculum which is currently called the “independent curriculum”, but the process of implementing the curriculum is still there are many problems, especially in MA Nasyi'in Sidoarjo. The purpose of this research is to find out the problems of implementing the independent curriculum at MA Nasyi'in in Arabic subjects. This research used a qualitative approach wich case study type with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results in the field show that there are problems faced by teachers and the head of the MA Nasyi’in, but with some effort they can finally minimize these problems.
