These obstacles include biased religious exegesis, disparities in access to education and the economy, and discrimination in political participation. Data indicate that women's participation in the workforce remains significantly lower than that of men, while gender-based violence continues to rise annually. Additionally, women's representation in political decision-making and policy-making remains low despite the implementation of gender quota policies.This study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach to analyze the realities of patriarchy and opportunities for change in achieving gender justice in Indonesia. The data sources include reports from women's rights organizations, government policies, and academic literature on Islamic feminism and gender policy reform. The findings reveal that patriarchy remains the primary barrier for women in various aspects of life. However, opportunities for change can be found through three main strategies: inclusive reinterpretation of religious texts, gender-based policy reform, and the utilization of digital media for advocacy. The research offers a solution from the perspective of holistic Islamic epistemology, grounded in the concept of tawhid (oneness). The main objectives are: (1) to critically analyze the tension between Cartesian dualism and Islamic epistemology using maq??id? exegesis of Qur'anic verses, (2) to formulate an alternative framework based on Islamic tur?th, known as "Enactive Tawhidic Perception," positioning the senses as active agents in constructing reality, and (3) to explore the neuroscientific implications of this model. The qualitative library research method focuses on primary texts such as I?y?’ ‘Ul?m al-D?n by Al-Ghazali, Al-Asf?r al-Arba’ah by Mulla Sadra, and maq??id? exegesis to understand the Qur'anic perspective on perception. The study shows that Islamic epistemology views perception as an integrated activity involving the senses, intellect, and heart as a unified epistemic system, where the senses are not passive but active agents in understanding reality. This research introduces a new paradigm for the neuroscience of spirituality, suggesting that perception can be a means to draw closer to God. The research method used is the library research method. The results of this study are that Islam is moderate in belief and conception, moderate in worship and asceticism, moderate in ethics and morals, and moderate in legislation and order. Islam is a middle way in belief between superstitious people who are extreme in their beliefs, believe in everything and have faith without proof, and materialists who deny everything beyond the senses and do not listen to the voice of instinct, the call of reason, or the evidence of miracles. Islam calls for belief and faith, but only based on conclusive evidence and absolute proof. Islam is a middle way in worship and rituals, between religions and sects that have eliminated the divine aspect of worship, asceticism, and deification from their philosophy and duties. Islam represents a moral middle ground between extreme idealists who imagine humans as angels or pseudo-angels and impose impossible values ??and morals on them. Islam is also moderate in its legislation, legal system, and social system. Drawing on interdisciplinary frameworks from Islamic studies, environmental pedagogy, and media literacy education, the research examines the role of Islamic discourse in shaping eco-activism and sustainable curriculum practices. Through qualitative content analysis of Islamic media sources ranging from sermons, social media campaigns, to digital da'wah platforms this study identifies recurring themes of environmental stewardship (khal?fah), balance (m?z?n), and moral accountability (taqw?) in ecological messaging. It further analyzes educational interventions and curriculum models that integrate these values to cultivate environmentally responsible citizens in Muslim-majority contexts. The findings reveal that Islamic media literacy, when aligned with environmental justice education, fosters a holistic pedagogical approach that combines spiritual, ethical, and ecological dimensions. Then, the growth of the term democracy experienced a fertile period and a shift towards modernization during the renaissance. The history of democratic practice exists in three waves. Indonesia is one of the countries entering wave three. According to Gus Dur, democracy is not an exchange of positions, but rather a principle of state administration where the constitution must be upheld. Gus Dur's democratic principles are interesting from the perspective of QS interpretation. Al-Baqarah (2): 41. This research aims to examine Gus Dur's democratic principles in the perspective of QS interpretation. Al-Baqarah (2): 41. Focuses on articles regarding Democracy, Community Participation, Freedom of Speech and Religion, and Institutional Reform. The results of this research are that democracy is a state administration where the constitution must be upheld. The implication is that democracy is not a market or a mere exchange of positions. Pengaruh dari falsafahnya yang ditulis dalam rangka kurun ke-6–12 Hijrah menzahirkan pengaruh dan kesan yang dramatik dalam pembikinan tamadun Eropah di kemuncak peradabannya pada kurun ke 18 M. Kesan sejarah yang fenomenal ini tertegak dan dizahirkan dalam pandangan dan kebudayaan yang berkembang di dunia Barat. Kajian ini dirangka berasaskan pendekatan kualitatif dari jenis tinjauan pustaka dan analisis isi. Data diperoleh dari sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder dan diolah secara deskriptif dan analitis, dengan teknik taakulan yang bersifat tematis, hermeneutis, sintesis, dan historis. Dapatan kajian mendapati bahawa pemikiran dan idealisme yang dicetuskan oleh karya-karya besar Ibn Rushd terutamanya Fasl al-maqal, telah menghasilkan perubahan radikal dalam masyarakat Eropah. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui presepsi masyarakat Desa Sidogiri tentang label halal pada kosmetik wardah dan implikasi presepsi masyarakat Desa Sidogiri tentang label halal terhadap pemilihan produk ksometik wardah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian empiris atau sosiologis. Sumber data diambil dari data primer yakni melalui wawancara dan data sekunder diperoleh secara tidak langsung dari sumbernya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa (1) Persepsi masyarakat Desa Sidogiri tentang label halal pada kosmetik wardah terdapat 3 pendapat, yaitu: sebagai tanda suatu kosmetik tidak mengandung unsur haram dan aman digunakan bagi konsumen, produk yang sudah mendapat ijin BPOM, label yang diperoleh dari MUI (2) Persepsi masyarakat Desa Sidogiri tidak berimplikasi terhadap pemilihan produk kosmetik. Kiai Mishbah's commentary shows his sharp analysis of a number of social realities in the community and weighs them with the messages of the Qur'an. This characteristic is one of the aspects that distinguishes it from the traditional interpretation paradigm in general which is textual, This study uses a descriptive analysis method of two KH interpretation works. Mustafa is Tafsir <em>Al-Iklîl </em><em>al-Iklîl fi Ma'ani al-Tanzîl</em> and <em>Tâj al-Muslimîn</em>. The findings of this study are that the interpretation of the work of KH. Mustofa is based on a critical paradigm that aims to make the Qur'an a <em>vital elan</em> in forming an ideal social order. The paradigm of critical interpretation of KH.
