https://ejournal.unkafa.ac.id/index.php/miyah/article/view/1747

Ahmad Abdullah FaqihM. https://ejournal.unkafa.ac.id/index.php/miyah/article/view/1770

This research aims to examine the asb?b al-nuz?l narratives in Al-W?hid?’s Asb?b Nuz?l al-Qur’?n, which describe the values of religious tolerance during the era of Prophet Muhammad SAW through the context of revelation events. Asb?b al-nuz?l is a specialized term referring to the historical events or circumstances that underlie the revelation of specific Quranic verses. The researcher investigates several asb?b al-nuz?l accounts in Al-W?hid?’s work pertaining to verses that intersect with the issue of religious tolerance. This study employs a qualitative research method using a library research approach and content analysis. The findings indicate that numerous Quranic verses have asb?b al-nuz?l backgrounds aimed at fostering harmonious religious tolerance; such as prohibiting followers from coercing others to embrace Islam and the prohibition against insulting the beliefs of other faiths.
Rahman HakimGhosoun Joumaa

https://ejournal.unkafa.ac.id/index.php/miyah/article/view/1835

The inauguration of Prabowo Subianto as the President of Indonesia marks a significant shift in the nation’s foreign and defense policy toward "Strategic Assertiveness." In an era defined as the "Age of Chaos," characterized by the erosion of multilateralism and intense US-China competition, Indonesia faces multifaceted threats ranging from maritime sovereignty to food and energy security. This report examines Prabowo’s leadership style through the lens of Maqashid al-Syariah, focusing on how his policies aim to protect the five essential elements of human well-being (al-maqasid al-khamsah). By employing a qualitative-descriptive methodology, the analysis reveals that Prabowo’s "firm, charismatic, and task-oriented" leadership embodies the Quranic principle of "I’dadul Quwwah" (preparation of strength) as mandated in Surah Al-Anfal 60. His focus on defense modernization and food self-sufficiency aligns with the preservation of life (Hifz an-Nafs) and wealth (Hifz al-Mal). However, the implementation of "polite democracy" and a military-dominant cabinet sparks debate regarding the balance between national stability and civil liberties. This research concludes that while Prabowo’s assertive stance is necessary for national survival in a multipolar world, it must be balanced with transparency and democratic accountability to ensure genuine public interest (maslahah).
Rahman FananiMoch. https://ejournal.unkafa.ac.id/index.php/miyah/article/view/1815

This study analyzes the dynamics of reform in Egypt in the economic, socio-cultural, religious, and educational fields, and its implications for the formation of contemporary Egyptian society. Using a historical-analytical approach, this study traces the reform process since the early 19th century, triggered by the modernization of the state, interaction with the West, and the response of Muslim intellectuals to the challenges of modernity. The results of the study show that economic reform has transformed the structure of production and social classes, while simultaneously giving rise to inequalities that affect social stability. In the socio-cultural realm, reform drives shifts in values, social relations, and expressions of identity, occurring through a dialectic between tradition and modernity. Meanwhile, religious and educational reform plays a significant role in shaping more rational, reflective, and contextual patterns of religiosity through the reform of Islamic thought and the modernization of educational institutions, including al-Azhar. This study emphasizes that reform in Egypt is not a linear process, but rather a continuous negotiation between religion, state, and society, resulting in a typology of contemporary Egyptian society that is religious, adaptive, and critical in facing global challenges

Arif BudionoFarida Huseynova

https://ejournal.unkafa.ac.id/index.php/miyah/article/view/1881

This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of unemployment from the perspective of human resource development based on Islamic values, specifically through the maqasid al-shari’ah approach. Conventional development models focused solely on economic growth often fail to comprehensively address unemployment issues because they neglect the dimensions of ethics, social justice, and spirituality. This study employs a qualitative method using a literature review approach, examining various classical and contemporary works related to Islamic economics and human development. The findings indicate that unemployment is not merely an economic issue but also reflects a failure in the holistic management of human resources. From the perspective of the maqasid al-shari’ah, development must be directed toward the protection of religion, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth, which implicitly demands the creation of fair, productive, and dignified employment opportunities. Therefore, a reconstruction of development policies is necessary one that focuses not only on macroeconomic indicators but also on the comprehensive enhancement of human quality. This study is expected to provide a conceptual contribution to the development of public policies based on Islamic values to address unemployment in a sustainable manner.
Saipul NasutionMuhammad Azrul Amirullah‘Ilma Tsaqila Khoirun NisaAndini Rachmawati

https://ejournal.unkafa.ac.id/index.php/miyah/article/view/1884

The rapid disruption of the digital economy necessitates adaptive legal responses from Islamic jurisprudence. This study aims to analyze the application of Dalalah Al-Alfadh (legal semantics) in the fatwas of Majma' Fiqh Al-Islami ad-Dawli concerning digital economic instruments, determining how Arabic linguistic structures shape legal conclusions. Employing a qualitative library research design, this study utilizes an interdisciplinary approach that integrates semantics and ushul fiqh (Islamic legal theory). Data were collected from official fatwa documents and analyzed using textual discourse analysis. The results reveal that the fatwa authority actively engages in "linguistic ijtihad" through two primary mechanisms. First, the application of Taqyid Al-Mutlaq (restriction of absolute meaning) to the terminology of Naqd (currency) delegitimizes pure cryptocurrency by limiting the definition to state-issued instruments, thereby establishing the presence of gharar (uncertainty). Second, the application of Tausi' Dalalah Al-Ibarah (expansion of explicit meaning) to al-Mu'athat (action-based contracts) legitimizes algorithmic smart contracts by legally equating computer codes with human contracting intent. This study concludes that in contemporary Islamic jurisprudence, the Arabic language functions not merely as a communicative medium but as a fundamental generator of law. These findings strongly implicate the need for an academic reorientation in Arabic Language Education programs, recommending the integration of critical legal literacy into the pedagogical curriculum to bridge the gap between mechanical grammatical mastery and contemporary legal analysis.
FaisolMuhammad A'inul Haq
