Abstract
Abstract: Songs are something that cannot be avoided by everyone. Songs have become an integral part of daily life, and even songs can be a medium of self-expression. However, many people are still wrong in interpreting a song, especially in foreign songs that require translation. This study aims to find out the translation strategy used in the translation of metáfora in the album "Aseer Ahsan" by Humood Al-Khuder. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study is in the form of metaphors and their translations contained in several songs of the album "Aseer Ahsan". In data collection, the researcher used the technique of looking and taking notes. Furthermore, the data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which includes three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The data obtained will be presented with the results of the translation, then analyzed using the theory of metaphor translation strategies by Newmark, then the last step is to draw conclusions from the results of the analysis. The results showed that there were 32 metaphors that could be translated using seven metaphor translation strategies.
