Abstract
This research aims to measure the effectiveness of using YouTube media in EFL learning through the MALL (Mobile Assisted Language Learning) approach in semi-online learning. This research was a quantitative study using a pre-experimental research design. This research was conducted to measure a group of dependent variable subjects by giving treatment. The participants in this research were students of the English I program at Billfath University, Lamongan. This research was conducted during a pandemic by implementing semi-online learning. The results of the student tests showed that there were significant differences in the mean scores of the pretest and posttest scores. Based on the results of the T-test, it is known that the comparison of students' pretest and posttest scores on sig. (2-heads) 0.000. This value was lower than the probability of 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) as a measure of the degree of miscalculation. From this output, the results of the pairwise average difference were -20.256. This value indicated a significant difference in the mean scores between the results of the students' pretest and posttest scores. Therefore, researchers could conclude that the integration of YouTube media in learning English has a considerable impact on the development of students' English skills.
