Abstract
This research investigates and identifies student characteristics and difficulties that impact students' capacity to speak. This research addresses two research questions: (1) What factors and difficulties impact students' speaking abilities, and (2) What factors and problems are most prevalently experienced by students that affect their speaking abilities? The researcher used descriptive qualitative analytic methodologies to collect data for this study. The participants in this study were fifth-semester English students at Tidar University. This study collects data using a questionnaire Marriam (2015) developed for relevant research. This study aims to identify the students' causes and difficulties with speaking skills.
