Abstract
The aim of this study is to find out what motivates parents to consider Islamic boarding schools to be able to answer various challenges and problems in contemporary Arabic language learning with a more integrated education and teaching process. This study uses a method that aims to systematically describe the facts found in the field that are verbal, sentences, phenomena in the guardians of students at the Daruttauhid Islamic Boarding School in Malang with a case study approach because the data information needed is excavated and collected from cases in the research field. In this study, the researcher will act as a key instrument (researcher as key instrument), where the researcher will collect the data himself that he wants to find through documentation, behavioral observations, and interviews with participants. Among the results of this study is the motivation of parents in choosing the Daruttahid Islamic Boarding School in Malang as an Arabic language educational institution. Based on the facts that occur in the field, namely, the desire of guardians of students to expect their children to have Arabic language skills. The motivation of guardians of students in choosing Islamic boarding school-based education for their children is a very appropriate step to take, especially in terms of language skills development. The supporting factors for the motivation of guardians of students in choosing the Daruttahid Islamic Boarding School in Malang as an educational institution for their children are because of the Arabic language environment and alumni of the Daruttahid Islamic Boarding School in Malang,
