Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the application of religious moderation in Islamic Education at SMP Mambaus Sholihin Tuban, this research used a descriptive qualitative method. Islamic education has an important character in answering problems that arise in society. In addition to being a center for learning Islamic sciences, Islamic education has the responsibility to deal with various social phenomena that arise in society, especially those related to differences in religious understanding. Mambaus Sholihin Tuban Junior High School which packs the teachings of Ahlussunah wal jama'ah in a pesantren-based junior high school education unit by incorporating subjects into ASWAJA an. Which has the aim of making students with Islamic education who are ahlussunah wal jama'ah. So, what is the teaching and learning method at SMP Mambaus Sholihin Tuban? and how to implement religious moderation in Islamic education at Mambaus Sholihin Junior High School. The result of this study is the Islamic moderation-based Education Method at SMP Mambaus Sholihin Tuban by providing religious moderation values through the subject curriculum and organizational activities in the IPNU IPPNU PK. The implementation of religious moderation in Islamic education at SMP Mambaus Sholihin Tuban is by practicing the values of religious moderation in daily activities that have been scheduled.
