Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Miyah: Journal of Islamic Studies is partnering bestari national journal published twice a year in print and online by the University of Kiai Abdullah Faqih Gresik Foundation Mambaus Sholihin Gresik Indonesia. This statement explains the ethical behavior of all parties involved in publishing articles in Miyah, including writers, editors council, bestari partners and publishers. This statement is based on COPE's Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
Ethical Guidelines Publishing
Publishing articles in Miyah is an essential building block in the development of a coherent network of knowledge and respected. This is a direct reflection of the quality of work of authors and institutions that support them. The articles were reviewed to support and contain the scientific method. Therefore, it is important to agree on standards of ethical behavior expected for all parties involved in publishing, namely: writer, editor of the journal, bestari partners, publishers, and society.
Abdullah Faqih Islamic Institute Foundation Mambaus Sholihin Gresik Indonesia as the publisher responsible Miyah oversee all stages of the publishing seriously and recognizes the ethical responsibilities and other responsibilities. Institutions other than committed to ensure that the print ads and other commercial income has no impact or influence on editorial decisions, is also committed to assist communication with journal managers and / or issuer to another, if deemed useful and necessary.
Decisions Publishing
Miyah editor responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted must be published. Validation of the work and the sense of centrality for researchers and readers should always push the decision. The editor can be guided by a policy board of editors of the journal and is limited by law as to be enforced regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism (plagiarism). Editors can confer with other editors or the assessment team in making this decision.
Fair Treatment
Editors always judge a script based on their intellectual content regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy of the authors.
Secrecy
The editors and staff editors must not disclose any information regarding the submitted manuscript to anyone other than the author, expert editors, bestari partners and publishers.
Notice and Conflicts of Interest
The materials disclosed in unpublished manuscript submitted should not be used in the editor's own research without the express written consent of the author clear.
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Rate bestari partners help the editor in making editorial decisions and through the editorial communications with the author may also help the author improve his writing.
Speed
Each assessor chosen who are not qualified to judge the research reported in a manuscript or knows that rapid review will not have to notify the editor and rid itself of the assessment process.
Secrecy

Objectivity Standards
Assessment should be conducted objectively. Critics are personal to the author is not justified. Assessors should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
Recognition Source
Assessors should identify relevant published work that is not cited by the author. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by relevant quotes. Notice and Conflicts of Interest
Confidential information or opinion obtained through assessment bestari partners must be kept secret and should not be used for private purposes. The assessor should not consider manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest that comes from relationships or connections that are competition, cooperation, or other with any author, company, or institution related to writing.
Reporting standards
The author should present an accurate account of the work created and discussion on significance. Basic data should be represented accurately in writing. An article should include sufficient detail and references to permit others to repeat the work. Statements fraudulent or intentionally inaccurate constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.
Originality and Plagiarism
The authors should ensure that they have written works that are entirely original, and that they have quoted correctly when using the work and / or words of others.
Publishing Ganda, repetition or Coincided
A writer is generally not publish the manuscript which essentially describes the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.
Recognition Source
Fair recognition of the work of others must always be given. The authors should cite the publication of influence in determining the nature of the work being reported.
Authorship Posts
Authorship should be limited to those who make an important contribution to the conception, design, execution or interpretation of the study were reported. All the people who made important contributions should be listed as co-author (co-authors). If there are other people who participated in certain important aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as a contributor (contributors). The author is right must ensure that all appropriate co-authors included in the article, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.
Notice and Conflicts of Interest
All the writers must notify in their manuscript any financial or other conflicts that may conflict substantive thought to affect the results or interpretation of their manuscript. Entire financial support for the project must be notified.
The fundamental error in the works published
